GitHub

Link one repo per project so agents and chat understand your codebase. This is separate from signing in with GitHub.

Sign-in vs project link

Continue with GitHub on the login page is only authentication. Linking a repo to a project is what unlocks README, stack detection, commits, Docs/Security/Issues agents, and richer Blog research.

Connect and link

  1. Open Connections (or the GitHub step in onboarding / an agent wizard).
  2. Connect the Astrodesk GitHub App if you haven't already.
  3. Pick a repository for this project. One repo per project.

What linking unlocks

  • Project context for agents and chat (README, stack, structure).
  • Docs, Security, and Git Issues agents (they require a linked repo).
  • Blog publish-to-GitHub when you choose that automation target.
