AI API cost tracking

A dashboard widget that shows real spend and token usage from your own Anthropic or OpenAI account - org-level billing data, not a consumer usage estimate.

What this is (and isn't)

This connects to your Anthropic or OpenAI Admin API key and pulls actual organization-level API billing data - cost and token counts by day and by model. It is not the same as your claude.ai or chatgpt.com consumer session/message limits - those have no public API, and nothing in Astrodesk shows them.

Connecting

This is account-wide, not per-project. Add the AI API Cost widget to your agents dashboard, then paste an Admin API key directly into the widget - no separate settings page. Once at least one provider is connected, the connect form tucks behind the widget's ⋯ menu ("Manage connections") so the card just shows numbers day to day.

Getting the actual key is provider-specific:

• Get a Claude Admin API key
• Get an OpenAI Admin API key
