Starting a new checklist

Three ways to start one:

• Generate with AI - describe what you need in a sentence, review the generated name/steps, then create it.
• Blank - just a name, add your own steps.
• Templates- 13 curated checklists: Launch, Ship to Production, Security, SEO, First 100 Users, Social Media, Browser Extension Launch, Mobile App Launch, Package/Library Release, Desktop App Release, Legal & Compliance, Pricing & Monetization, and Onboarding & Activation. Templates matching your project's type are badged "Recommended" and sorted first - every template is still available regardless of type.

Working a checklist

Click a step (not just its checkbox) to mark it done. Drag to reorder. Steps can carry one or more links, shown as small favicon chips - handy for "do it here" references (a dashboard, a docs page, a settings screen). Progress shows as done/total in the section header.

Exporting as an AI prompt

A checklist's ··· menu → "Generate AI prompt" turns the checklist (and which steps are still unchecked) into a copy-paste prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor - with quick links to open those directly. This is scoped to one checklist; for a broader, pick-your-own-items prompt across the whole project, use the Board's AI Prompt instead.
