Connect DataFa.st

Show your DataFa.st traffic (visitors, page views, sessions) inside a project’s Analytics tab.

1. Get your website API key

  1. In DataFa.st, open the website you want to track and go to its Settings → API.
  2. Copy the website API key - it starts with df_. This key is scoped to that one website.

2. Paste it into Astrodesk

  1. Open your project → Social/Analytics tab → find the DataFa.st card and click Connect.
  2. Paste your API key. Leave Website ID blank when using a df_ website key - it’s only needed if you use an account-level token (dft_).
  3. Click Connect.

Notes

  • The key is stored encrypted and only used server-side to read your analytics.
  • For revenue, connect Stripe revenue - it reads MRR and payments directly and accurately.
  • Use the pencil (Update key) button on the card to rotate the key later.
